Carbon Disclosure Project: Launch of Phase 3
The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) provides a secretariat for the world’s largest institutional investor collaboration on the business implications of climate change. CDP represents an efficient process whereby many institutional investors collectively sign a single global request for disclosure of information on Greenhouse Gas Emissions. CDP then send this request to the FT500 largest companies in the world. 300 of the 500 largest corporations in the world currently report their emissions through CDP’s website.
Paul Dickinson is a Member of the Environmental Research Group of the UK Faculty and Institute of Actuaries and the UK Department of Trade and Industry Innovation and Growth Team for the Environmental Goods and Services sector. He is also Founder of EyeNetwork, the largest videoconference booking service in Europe, and a former Board Director of Social Venture Network Europe. He has an MSc in Responsibility and Business Practice from University of Bath, and is the author of five books including Beautiful Corporations (2000, Financial Times Prentice Hall). Paul is Founder of Rufus Leonard Corporate Communications.
