When booking the conference why not give yourselves time to enjoy Tuscany. Places like Pisa, Sienna, San Gimignano, Florence, Viareggio are nearby. Viareggio is on the coast and the water temperature could still be pleasant at the time of the conference.

Or rent a car and follow the Agriturismo track around the Tuscan countryside with its hilltop villages, virgin olive oils, wines and excellent food.
