Riccardo Bagni is Vice-President and Managing Director of Coop Italia since January 2000 . He was previously Vice-President of Coop Italia Non-Food National Consortium , after having been Head of Acquisitions since 1987.

In June 2000, he was nominated Vice-President of Coind (a productions Co-op) and until June 2002 he was also President of Intergroup A.m.b.a. (Intergroup is the Head Office for european Co-op's acquisitions)

Bagni started his career with Unipol Insurance Company after obtaining his degree at the University of Pisa.
