Why Business Ethics is a Win-win Game for Companies and Civil Society

Maria Teresa Brassiolo

Within the concept of building a better social environment corporations and NGOs are in a position to take the lead to identify and disseminate the advantages of responsible business. CSR promotes a triple bottom line philosophy in the economy, civil society and the environment. It is a commitment to responsible behaviour and sustainable development. It identifies and adheres to common values for corporations, institutions and the community.

Transparency International Italy, since its foundation in 1996, is committed to criticality prevention through broad ethical education in all sectors of society including schools, corporations and institutions through special ad hoc projects.
