Annika Laurén with Fabio Salviato
Annika Laurén was part of the team that started the Swedish bank Ekobanken in 1996 and she is the Managing Director. For fifteen years prior to that she was an entrepreneur providing management support in the social economy. She worked with both financial and legal aspects establishing and developing schools, facilities for the handicapped, special schools, shared housing, farms, and community colleges for art and crafts. She is very interested in anthroposophy both through its outer expression to create a more humane society, and on the inner with esoteric work. She is involved with the Swedish Green Party and is Chairman of a Children's Science Centre. She has four children, ten grandchildren and lives on a farm.
Fabio Salviato was a founding member in 1988 of the CTM Consortium Third World Cooperation. From 1989 to 1995 he was President and Director of the Financial Consortium Etimos (previously named CTM Mag). He is also a founding member of the Cooperative leading to Banca Etica of which he was the President until its transformation into Banca Popolare Etica, which took place in 1998 and was nominated President of Banca Etica, a position he still holds today. He is also President of Etica SGR. He is Councillor of the Diocesan Institute which supports the Diocesan clergy of Padova, Councillor of Febea (European Federation of Ethcial and Alternative Banks), President of Sefea (European Company on ethical and alternative finance). He is a Member of INAISE (International Association of Alternative Investors) which has its office in Brussels and in 1998 he was member of the World Summit on Microcredit. He was Councillor for the Minister of Joint and Several Economy Hasquette France (development of ethical financing - France).
